In her capacity as veterinary surgeon and Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist, Kendal is frequently instructed as an Expert Witness in cases involving The Dogs Act 1871, and Sections 1 and 3 of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 as well as the Animal Welfare Act 2006
